Gertie
is my newest character doll. I love all those
wonderful resin dolls with their fabulous deep wrinkles
and crevices, and worked hard at achieving a similar
result in porcelain. Gertie
is working hard in her garden, and is all decked out for
the occasion in her flowered housedress, gardening
apron, garden clogs, and large hat to protect her from
those harmful UV rays. |
