This miniature doll is dressed in the fashionable style of the era, wearing   an 1865 era day dress  suitable for visiting.  The gown is made in lovely teal silk fabric accented with black velvet ribbon, black lace and self fabric trim.

The full skirt features three tiers, each edged with fringe, velvet and lace.  The pagoda style sleeves are the favorite style of the day, and are worn over full creme under-sleeves trimmed with fine laces.

Hair is styled with a center part, pulled back into a bun, over which is worn a delicate black net snood, trimmed with fine antique lace and black silk ribbon bows.

Doll measures 5 1/2" in height and is from a mold by Stacy Hofman.
