Claire is dressed for a stroll in the park in her white batiste gown.  The 6-gored skirt features a "window-pane" pattern created with lace insertion, which was popular during the early 1900's. This doll measures 5 1/2" tall without hat, and is created from a mold by Gina Bellous.  She wears a delicate gold bracelet and ring, set with tiny pearl beads, and an elaborate hat, trimmed with silk roses, ribbons, feathers, and pearl stems

The six gores in the skirt are joined by narrow strips of  French lace, and each gore is created in three sections, creating the "window-pane" effect.  This feature is stitched, not glued, allowing for the fabric behind the lace to be removed.
